Warm fronts are were warm air pushes the cooler air in the direction that the warm air's direction.

Stationary fronts are were warm air and cold air hit each other in to different directions.

Occluded fronts are were cold air runs into a another cool air area and it makes the warm air split in two.

pollution on acid rain

Acid rain contains sulfuric acid in the rain drops. Acid rain is caused by factories and burning coal. Acid rain effects small animals, large buildings, and plants. After a wile acid rain can kill small animals, and make plants wilt. Factories use big long tubes to clean out the air so that when it cams out it wont heart the atmosphere as much.

Earth's atmosphere compared to the Moon and other planets with out an atmosphere

Earth's atmosphere has O2 (Oxygen) and O3 (Ozone) to provide air for everything to live and survive. Air contains 2 main gases that we breath today. Nitrogen is 75%, Oxygen is 24%, and there is 1% of other gases in the air. In Earth's atmosphere their is an Ozone lair witch protects us from the harmful raise of the sun. Unlike Earth the Moon is like a died planet floating on an orbit around the Earth.

Blog Summaries

#1. The Science of Rockets

Since the 1950's NASA has been launching satellites and probes into space. The satellites and probes went through three stages. The first stage is atlas uses both liquid-fuel and solid-fuel engines. The second stage is centaul which falls off into the atmosphere. The third stage is the payload.

#2. The Space Program

NASA began in 1958 and started the project to get a man into Earth's orbit. NASA's greatest mission was Apollo 1 which was sent to the moon. In 1990 and 1992 NASA's Galileo probe sent new information about the surface of the moon.

#3. Exploring Space Today

New technology planned for (ISS) includes a small robot called a "personal satellite assistant". The robot helps around the satellite and helps the astronauts fix the satellites. The robot has a videophone so that astronauts can communicate with one another.

#4. Using Space Science on Earth

According to NASA 1% the U.S. budget is on the space program. Meny people say that the mony should be spent on different things like medial research or education. To counter these arguments, NASA explains how much NASA has lerned about space and the infermation that the galexy has pervided for us.

Perspective

In a book called "Zoom" by Isteran Banyai. The book started with a pichture of the inside of a barn. Then it went on to a doll in a box. Then it went to a chines bilbord. The last pichture was our earth the size of a marble.

The book Zoom changed my perspective in some ways. One way is when the book showed a pichture of a head of a ruster and I thought it was the sun. Another way was that the book showed a pichture that went out of a nather pichture when you terned the page. The last way was when the book showed something that you thought was something else.

I think that some scientests mite like to look at up close objects. The scientests that mite be interested are the ones that study cells, small organisoms, and adoms. These studies help them to lern how they work. Thank you for reading this student blog, I hope you lerned something thank you.

Enigma Box

Scientists have to learn 5 skills to figure out how things work. The 5 are making models, classifying, predicting, inferring, and observing. The enigma box is a scientific invention that someone thought of one day. The enigma box has a strange black outer hard surface. There is a mystery inside the enigma box that I don't know about.

Inside the enigma box something scientific happens. When you pour water into the enigma box two things happen. One is that it takes in 450 ml before it starts to drip. When it is at 500 ml it releases the water inside.

The enigma box has tinted glass and has three holes. There are 2 on the top and 1 on the bottom. The holes on the top let in the water and the hole on the bottom holds the water in. When the water goes in, I think the inside is halo and holds air in the and has a bubble on the bottom. When there is enough pressure the bubble pops.

In science my teacher said that the enigma box has a rubber tube inside. When she poured the water in, the water went into the tube and pushed the air out. When the air came out it dripped at 450 ml. Then the water came out at 500 ml. I hope you enjoyed my blog on the enigma box and I hope you learned something interesting.
