Scientists have to learn 5 skills to figure out how things work. The 5 are making models, classifying, predicting, inferring, and observing. The enigma box is a scientific invention that someone thought of one day. The enigma box has a strange black outer hard surface. There is a mystery inside the enigma box that I don't know about.
Inside the enigma box something scientific happens. When you pour water into the enigma box two things happen. One is that it takes in 450 ml before it starts to drip. When it is at 500 ml it releases the water inside.
The enigma box has tinted glass and has three holes. There are 2 on the top and 1 on the bottom. The holes on the top let in the water and the hole on the bottom holds the water in. When the water goes in, I think the inside is halo and holds air in the and has a bubble on the bottom. When there is enough pressure the bubble pops.
In science my teacher said that the enigma box has a rubber tube inside. When she poured the water in, the water went into the tube and pushed the air out. When the air came out it dripped at 450 ml. Then the water came out at 500 ml. I hope you enjoyed my blog on the enigma box and I hope you learned something interesting.
